As a personal trainer for Functionally Fit, Inc., Ms. Smith is an expert in teaching core and Swiss ball-yoga ball exercises. Ms. Smith's daily responsibilities include training people using resistance exercises, teaching group fitness, and helping people to tone their muscles, gain strength and lose weight

With 20 years of experience in her field, she attributes her success to being genuine. She became involved in her profession because she loved working at health clubs. In the next five years, she hopes to expand, possibly relocate, start a clothing line and create a personal training DVD.

Ms. Smith received her associate's degree in fashion and marketing from the Laboratory Institute of Merchandising. She completed coursework in fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. A member of the IDEA Health and Fitness Association, Ms. Smith is certified by the American Council on Exercise. She is also a part of the Westchester Business Network in Westchester NY.
