Cambridge Who's Who Recognizes Patrice Marie Northam for Excellence in Health and Wellness

/Diet - Weight Loss News Articles/ - Council Bluffs, IA, April 16, 2008, Patrice Marie Northam, Director and Practitioner of One World Enterprises (Formally Points of Light), has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and distinction in all aspects of health and wellness.

As the director of One World Enterprises, Ms. Northam uses her knowledge of various cultures, developed through worldwide travel, to aid in her teaching and healing work. With 19 years in her field, she attributes her success to her hard work and commitment.

Ms. Northam thanks her parents' support for contributing to her well-rounded background. In high school, she was a member of the drill team and taught piano lessons to young children. During her college career she took part in The Moving Company, a university dance group, and taught dance classes for various church and recreational programs. While pursuing her graduate degree, she served as a part-time journalist for the university newspaper.

In 1991, Ms. Northam earned her Master's Degree in Biology with a specialization in Medical Ethno-botany. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a double minor in Spanish and Psychology. Among her health specializations, Ms. Northam is a licensed massage therapist, has completed research in bodywork forms, and has studied macrobiotics under Herman Aihara. Additionally, Ms. Northam is in the process of writing two books.

One World Enterprises offers services for the "creation and maintenance of health." Ms. Northam's methods of health and wellness revolve around four basic principles- providing specialized dietary and lifestyle counseling, performing Swedish massage, Shiatsu, and Reike energy work, conducting Shamanic consultations and Psychic readings, and interpreting and translating various languages.
