New Handbook Compares Calorie Info for World's Foods
The new handbook compares calorie info for the large majority of the world's foods and some beverages. All calculations are referenced to 1 gram or 1 milliliter for simple comparison.

TUCSON, AZ, March 10, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A new book by Dow Creative Enterprises compares the world's foods against each other relative to 1 gram. Beverages are compared to 1 ml. The book allows for quick reference in determining which item in a food group has fewer calories in order to meet a calorie budget (as described in The Pen and Paper Diet). The book lists calorie info by food group as well as descending order from the highest calorie per gram item in the world (Bacon fat - 9.1 cal/gram) to the lowest (salt - 0.0cal/gram).

The book is not required to accomplish The Pen and Paper Diet or a personal daily calorie budget. This book will be an excellent coffee table book igniting some discussions on health, weight management and nutrition.
