Diane S. Tarr joined Curves in 2005, bringing with her 24 years of overall professional experience combined with a healthy dose of business management acumen. Her dual role as manager/fitness instructor calls for her to not only ensure that business operations run smoothly on a daily basis, but to also teach fitness classes and instruct clients about weight loss and nutrition. Ms. Tarr's comprehensive contributions to the business also extend into its marketing and sales efforts. Before joining Curves, she worked for 15 years in the social services field and nine years in the business management of a hotel chain. She attributes her rapid success to her upbringing, perseverance, and disciplined and focused nature.

Ms. Tarr holds a bachelor of arts in psychology and a master's degree in social services. She is certified in first aid and CPR training. Her professional affiliations include the Lake County Agricultural Society and the American Quarter Horse Association. She was honored with a Volunteer Service Award for 10 Years of Service and an Achievement Award for Most Sales. Ms. Tarr counts the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association and the American Alzheimer's Association among her favorite charities.
